We are a print and online newsletter that has been published since 1983. Many of our advertisers have been advertising in the Gazette since 1983, and will not advertise anywhere else. We are now in our 44th year of publication and will be around for many more years.

The Caretaker Gazette: a company publishing for 44 years! Our visitor traffic to caretaker.org keeps increasing every week. That is because, as our advertisers and subscribers know, we are the only publication of its kind. We are a bricks and mortar company, not just a website.

We have had a rise in the number of complaints about websites that are set up to promote themselves by offering house sitting and property caretaking assignments. Some of these websites have allowed people to place fraudulent ads for house sitting and property caretaking opportunities that do not exist.

The Caretaker Gazette is not affiliated with and has no connection to any of these websites. All of the ads that you see in the printed issues and online editions of the Gazette are legitimate and paid for by the advertisers.
